released in 13 countries around the world yesterday, November 22.
Now,
Microsoft has confirmed the first statistics from this debut, revealing
that 1 million units have been sold in less than 24 hours since the
console went on sale.
This performance has set a new record in Xbox history, according to the company, surpassing the performance of the Xbox 360.
While
the numbers are certainly better than the figures of Sony's PS4, which
sold over 1 million units in 24 hours, don't forget that Microsoft's
console was rolled out in 13 countries around the world at the same
